We used to get the most delicious sandwiches from a bakery. This place has since closed, but before they closed we asked what was in the special sauce because it made these sandwiches unique! The sauce blends with all the toppings and creates a very delicious flavor experience. They gave us their secret recipe and we make them at home now! We even bake our own bread, like them. NOM Special Sandwich
1 lb Rare Roast Beef Deli Sliced
1 lb Black Forest Ham, deli sliced
1 lb Buffalo Chicken or roasted chicken, deli sliced
1 lb Hard Salami, deli sliced
Sliced cheese (provolone, cheddar, swiss--anything you love!)
Onion Slices, thin, to taste
Dill Pickle Slices to taste
Fresh tomato, sliced thin
pepperoncini rings, to taste
Leaf Lettuce
Special Sauce
Fresh baked bread
Special Sauce:
1/2 cup Litehouse Ranch
1 TBSP yellow mustard
1 TBSP worcestershire sauce
To make sauce: Mix all the ingredients in a squeeze bottle or bowl until completely blended. Spread on top piece of bread and bottom piece of bread for sandwiches.
To make sandwich:
Slice long french bread in half vertically.
Take bottom half and spread the desired amount of sauce.
Add Roast beef layer, ham layer, then chicken layer, then hard salami layer. Add cheese layer, add tomato layer, onion layer, pickle layer, pepperoncini layer and lettuce layer.
Spread more special sauce on the top piece of bread and place top piece of bread on top of all your layers.
Cut and serve. BEST COLD SANDWICH EVER!
