Burgers

Updated: Sep 23, 2020

Whats more classic than a delicious, juicy hamburger? NOT MUCH! Its quite simple, really! The rule with burgers is less is more. So many people add things like oatmeal and peppers to their burgers--and thats ok, but I call that Meatloaf burgers. This recipe is basic and classic. These go great served with Hand cut French Fries! Let the meat host the party in your mouth and not a buch of fillers! #SoNomNom4u #burgers

Classic Burgers

3 pounds of Ground Beef

Cash Cow or other seasoning to taste

Brioche Buns (we use Bakerly) (or any other bun of choice!)

3 TBSP butter

Cheese of choice (if you choose)

Toppings of choice (pickles, onion, mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, or anything you want)

Line a cookie sheet with parchment.

Wash hands.

Open Ground beef package.

Take a large handful out (about a 2.5" ball) and patty into a thin burger, a little larger in diameter than the bun. Place on parchment and sprinkle with your fave saesoning. (Ours is Cash Cow) repeat process until all burgers are pattied.

Place cookie sheet in freezer to keep extremely chilled until ready to cook.

This is a good time to heat the grill or inside griddle.

This is also a good time to slice onions or gather cheeses and other toppings you may want!!

Toast Buns by meltin 3 TBSP of butter in a pan or on the griddle. Using a basting brush or dipping method, wet each bun with melted butter, place buns butter side down on griddle. remove when toasted.

We make these on the grill or inside griddle. Both are delicious.

Cook until the internal temp is 160°F . We make ours a little less done but it is truly a matter of opinion. About a minute before removing from the grill/griddle--add the slice of desired cheese (if any) to the top of the burger and melt. Remove from heat and serve on a toasted bun. Add desired toppings.
