Turkey Gravy. It's that gravy you get once a year that no other gravy can ever even try to beat. What makes turkey gravy so special? Probably the fact that it is made from all the delicious turkey juices. #SoNomNom4u #TurkeyGravy
2 cups turkey Juices (Its even better if you have 4 cups of all drippings and no broth)
2 cups turkey broth (If you do not have turkey juices you can use all turkey broth)
4 TBSP butter
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp thyme
salt
pepper
Cook your turkey. Set aside juices from the bottom of the roasting pan.
In a large saucepan, melt 6 TBSP butter. Add 1/2 cup of flour and blend until it is a thick paste. Pour in the 4 cups of turkey drippings/and/or broth. Add thyme and salt and pepper to taste. Stir to blend and make it smooth. Pour into a serving dish and serve hot with Perfect Mashed Potatoes and Classic Turkey.
