Perfect Instant Pot Baked Potatoes

If you have an Instant Pot, you can make oven-like baked potatoes in half the time! The prep is the same as the oven prep--you are still rubbing butter and seasoning and wrapping them in foil! This means the taste is also identical to the delicious oven-baked potatoes we all know and love! #sonomnom4u #BakedPotato #Vegetarian

5 potatoes

5 TBSP butter

2-1/2 tsp season salt

2-1/2 tsp cracked pepper

Directions:

Rub each potato with 1 TBSP butter. Make sure and coat the entire potato. Then, sprinkle 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper all over the buttered potato. Repeat until all potatoes are rubbed and seasoned.

Wrap each potato in foil. It works great if you set potato in the center of the foil and bring up the 2 halves of foil over the potato and roll it down toward the top of the potato. Then twist and tuck each side under--but you can wrap them any way you would like!

Place the steamer rack inside the Instant Pot removable pot. Now, add a cup of water the the bottom, making sure the water isn't touching the high part of the steaming rack. Now, place all 5 butter, seasoned, and wrapped potatoes on the rack inside the Instant Pot.

Place the lid on the Instant Pot and make sure the pressure valve is in the center position. Set Instant Pot to MANUAL and 25 minutes. It is weird but the smaller the potatoes and the fewer the potatoes you have, the longer it takes to cook. 25 minutes always works for my potatoes in my pot.

Now, go finish cooking your dinner and when you are done, you will have beautiful foil-wrapped, buttery potatoes that are ready to be served!
