Ham Gruyere Lasagna Rolls

This is a very simple and fast family fave! When I make lasagna pasta from scratch, I always make extra and freeze it so these will be even faster and easier to make! You can do the same, or just buy packaged lasagna noodles! #sonomnom4u #hamgruyerelasagnarolls

Ham Gruyere Lasagna Rolls

20 slices thin deli ham, cut in half vertically

1 box packaged lasagna noodles or MAKE YOUR OWN!

8 oz. gruyere cheese, grated

8 oz. mozzarella cheese, grated

1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan

1 pint heavy cream

1/2 tsp nutmeg

fresh parsely, chopped

Red Pepper Flakes

To make:

Preheat oven to 450°F

Toss grated mozzarella and grated gruyere in a bowl until combined. Set aside.

In a 2 cup measuring cup, pour a pint of heavy cream. Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp nutmeg and mix until well blended. Set aside.

Chop fresh parsely. Set aside.

Spray an 12" round baking pan with nonstick oil spray

Place a boiled, cooled lasagna noodle on a work surface. Place a 1/2 slice of ham and Sprinkle with about an oz. of cheese mixture. Roll up and place in sprayed baking pan so that the spiral sides are top and bottom. Repeat until all rolls are made.

Pour heavy cream/nutmeg mixture over the entire dish. Sprinkle top with 1/2 cup grated parmesan (fresh is always best but you can use powdered! ), chopped fresh parsley, and red pepper flakes.

Place in oven and bake approximately 20-30 minutes until bubbling and golden. Cooking times vary based on material of the dish, size of dish and actual oven. Remove from heat and let set about 10 minutes before serving.

Heavy cream will cook and thicken. Letting the dish stand a bit will also help thicken the cream.
