Classic waffles are really easy to make! You HAVE to have a waffle iron to make waffles, so please don't try this recipe unless you have one! These are a delicious blend of crunch and melt in your mouth! #SoNomNom4u #Vegetarian #ClassicWaffles
2 cups bread/pizza flour
1 teaspoon sea salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons turbinado sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ cups warm heavy cream
5 TBSP butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the waffle iron.
In a bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder until it is all well blended.
In a stand alone mixer or bol with hand beaters, mix sugar, and butter. add eggs one at a time, continuing to mix until well blended. Add heavy cream and vanilla extract and blend it all together until it is mixed well.
Spoon batter into the waffle iron. Close lid and cook per directions on the waffle iron. Batter will rise, causing the lid to rise a bit. Don't try to open it until it is cooked completely on the inside or it will split and make a mess. There is usually an indicator light to let you know when to open. However, waffle irons vary greatly!
Remove when ready and set on plate. Repeat until all waffles are made.
Serve with real maple syrup, and/ or/ fruit and whipped topping.
